Community
Our Community has a resident population of approximately 215 and consists of 142 dwellings. Tayvallich belongs to the North Knapdale Community Council, which also covers Bellanoch, Achnamara, Cairnbaan, and Crinan
Although a number of residents are retired the remainder work either in nearby Lochgilphead or locally in the predominant industries of tourism, farming, forestry, commercial fishing and we have a number of resident artists.
Ours is now a vibrant community with a primary school roll of over twenty and a number of residents run their businesses from home through the internet.
For those arriving by boat or without their own transport there is a local bus service.
For many the Church is an important element of the Community.
